These products can be used to create modern, stylish and low maintenance screening in both domestic and commercial applications.
 
 
Moulded Slat Screens
Moulded Slat Screens are injection moulded in one piece in a range of 6 Colorbond(R) colours from fully UV-stabilised PolyPropylene (PP) polymer to handle the demanding Australian conditions.
 
They require no ongoing maintenance other than an occasional rinse with water to get rid of the dust.
They are a more economical DIY alternative to traditional timber slat screens. 
 
Standard colour range currently includes Merino, Mountain Blue, Mist Green, Off White, Smooth Cream, Slate Grey.
 
They are 1205mm wide x 2410mm high and have a block out / shade factor of 75%.
 
They can be installed using either the special Plastic Mounting Kit or the C-channel Frame Kit (sold separately).
  • Use the Plastic Mounting Kit if you have existing structure right around the opening where the screen will be installed, or you intend to set up posts and rails to suit the screen.
  • Use the C-channel Frame Kit if you only have available a few attachment points.

Slats for Modular Slat Screens are manufactured from fully UV-stabilised PolyPropylene (PP) polymer to handle demanding Australian conditions and are available in the following 2 sizes:
 
      800mm (+/-2mm) long x 62mm (+/-1mm) wide x 8mm (+/-1mm) thick
    1200mm (+/-2mm) long x 62mm (+/-1mm) wide x 8mm (+/-1mm) thick
 
Modular Slat Screen Kits are available in the following 4 sizes:
       
      800mm (+/-2mm) wide x 1775mm (+/-2mm) high with 2 support rails 
    1200mm (+/-2mm) wide x 1775mm (+/-2mm) high with 3 support rails 
     
      800mm (+/-2mm) wide x 2383mm (+/-2mm) high with 2 support rails
    1200mm (+/-2mm) wide x 2383mm (+/-2mm) high with 3 support rails
 
The gap between the stals is 11mm when they are assembled to the C-channel rails.
     
Standard slat colour range currently includes Black, Off White, Smooth Cream and Slate Grey.
 
C-channel rails are pre-punched with pilot holes for easy assembly with slats.
The kits come complete with mounting brackets for the C- channel rails, which have to be attached to supports at top and bottom. 
 
If you do not have in place existing supports, we can supply posts in 50x50x1.6mm galvanised square tube with matching plastic post caps, horizontal rails in 40x40x1.6mm galvanised square tube, and special mounting brackets for attaching rails to posts.
 
Galvanised and powder coated posts and rails are designed to resist corrosion and fading even in the harshest climates.
